Since 1994 Sierra Outdoor Center has provided Northern Californians with whitewater rafting, kayaking and paddling sales, rentals and instruction. Our knowledgable staff aren't just sales people. Unlike other outdoor outfitters, we only hire paddlers to work at SOC. What that means to you as a customer is accurate information. From how long your paddle needs to be, to safely tying down your load, we have your answers.			We have the largest selection of used kayaks, canoes, rafts and paddling accessories in the area. SOC offers ACA certified instruction in kayaking and canoeing. We also provide rafting and inflatable kayaking instruction for the novice, intermediate and expert paddler. We have weekly kayak roll sessions right here in Auburn in a heated indoor pool, gear provided.
